With the introduction of red cards, pink cards, and yellow cards, the league has taken a proactive approach to address misconduct. Red cards result in a 3-match ban or a $30 waiver fee, pink cards lead to a 1-match ban, and yellow cards serve as warnings to curb undesirable behaviour.

In a series of incidents, three team captains were handed red cards for their actions. Prince Katenha of Players Pool Club faced penalties for using vulgar language, Rodgers Simango of BnB Ruwa for displaying unsportsmanlike behaviour, and Tanaka Matare of Pahukama Pahushamwari Pool Club for causing chaos during a game between Pahukama and Legends. These actions emphasize the league's commitment to promoting a respectful and orderly environment during matches.

The league unequivocally supports the umpires, as their role is paramount in ensuring fair play and maintaining order during matches. It is crucial for individuals to comprehend the significance of every game played in the NEVSUN PREMIER POOL LEAGUE. Failing to control misconduct and unruly behaviour in the early stages of the season could lead to a complete breakdown by mid-season.

Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that clubs that neglect to send representatives to umpires' workshops are the recipients of disciplinary cards. These cards seem to attract individuals who engage in disruptive behaviour, such as drunkards and vocal spectators who do not participate in the necessary workshops. It is imperative to address these issues promptly and decisively.

The league SG Manene said "The league is resolute in its commitment to upholding standards of sportsmanship and professionalism, and measures will continue to be implemented to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all participants. The enforcement of disciplinary actions and continued efforts to educate and engage all stakeholders will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the league. The message is clear: the enforcement of rules and regulations will not waver, and strides will be taken to cultivate a culture of respect and responsibility within the league."

Additionally, the league is also taking steps to address the issue of drug abuse among players by implementing a doping control program. This program aims to prevent the use of performance-enhancing substances and ensure a level playing field for all participants. By introducing doping tests and regulations, the league is taking a proactive stance against drug abuse and upholding the integrity of the sport.

Overall, these measures reflect the NEVSUN PREMIER POOL LEAGUE's dedication to fostering a positive and fair environment for all participants. Through the enforcement of disciplinary actions and doping control measures, the league is committed to maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity in pool competitions.
